You will have noticed that the area has had a bit of a revamp and is looking amazing. There are lovely picnic benches where you can eat your lunch and there are cycle racks so you can park up your bike. Do please also check out the new walking and cycling maps that have been created. These are intended to be works in progress so let us know of any changes or new routes you would like to see. Just speak to Ian in the shop about these.
Don’t forget to have a look to see if you can find any of the wildlife on the beautiful sign designed and created by Kate McLelland and Skye Folks. It is really stunning.
We also now have a coffee machine and stocked fridge in the pavilion. We are looking for some volunteers to enable the pavilion to be open so if you think you could help with this please email us at infokirknewton@gmail.com
