Cancellation Policy

Terms and Conditions: 1) Payment must be made prior to the event unless an arrangement has already been made with a member of staff. 2) Community groups hosting free events may use the space free of charge. If a paid booking is requested overlapping with a free event, we reserve the right to discuss a reschedule or cancellation with the community group in order to generate income to maintain our facilities. 3) Facilities and equipment must be left in the same condition they were hired. Any breakages must be reported on the day of hire to infokirknewton@gmail.com or 01506883988 (or an on-site member of staff). Fees may occur if damages are not reported and items are found to be in a different condition to which you hired. 4) The hirer is responsible for any insurances or first aids for their event if required. The first aid box is clearly marked. The fire exit is the main entrance. 5) All visitors to the venue must register on the sign-in sheet upon entrance, and sign out when leaving. 6) Operation manuals for equipment is clearly marked in each location. If you are unsure please contact infokirknewton@gmail.com and leave a telephone number, someone will contact you. 7) Cancellation by the Hirer: Cancellations received 14 days or more before the booking date will receive a full refund. Cancellations received less than 14 days before the booking date will not be refunded unless the booking period is successfully re-let, in which case a refund may be issued at our discretion. 8) Cancellation by us: We reserve the right to cancel any booking where the premises become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, including emergency repairs, utility failures, severe weather, public health restrictions, or other unforeseen events. In such circumstances, the hirer will receive a full refund of any fees paid. We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the cancellation .
