Our Services

There are various services available in Kirknewton which are set-up and run by community groups and volunteers. Have a browse below to explore what we can offer.

Printing

The Green Room has a printer that can be used by the community at the discretion KCDT staff. If you need something printed, and don't have access to a printer, please contact us. We'll be able to print for you as long as the request is reasonable!

Active Listening Service

KCDT staff member Ailsa has launched the Kirknewton Active Listening Service. The listening service provides a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space for anyone in our community who needs someone to talk to.

Ailsa is a trained listener to offer a listening ear, support, and—where helpful—signposting to additional services. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, lonely, worried, or just need to talk, you don’t have to face things alone. Ailsa is offering an in-person service in the Green Room in our new listening area, and also home visits if required.  By appointment only.

Reach out anytime: ailsakirknewton1@gmail.com.

This service is supported by the National Lottery Fund and The West Lothian Mental Health Fund.
